Puppetry is an exciting art form with endless possibilities! Get your arms up in the air and find out what goes into making magic for a television puppet show with professional puppeteers Brendan James Boyd and Reese Scott who’s credits include Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock, the Calgary’s Future commercial campaign, Tina’s Tales of Terror, and more! Participants will get to explore the style popularized by children’s television by using a variety of puppet types to explore the possibilities, challenges and techniques used to create a convincing and captivating performance on camera.

Build your very own critter with guidance from expert puppet builders at Puppet Stuff Canada. This two day workshop takes you through fabricating this unique pattern step by step! From cutting and glueing foam to working with faux fur and basic machine sewing, attendees will get tips and tricks along the way for making a practically perfect opossum to take home!
Skill level: Intermediate, Age 18+
Pre requisite: Intro To Foam Fabrication course or previous Puppet Stuff fabrication class (please specify in notes)

This 3 hour workshop takes you through the steps of putting together a 3D form from flat foam. Attendees will cut, glue and assemble a simple puppet under the guidance of pro puppet makers!
This class is great for beginner fabricators and puppet enthusiasts alike!
